Life's journey can sometimes be more challenging than we are prepared to handle by ourselves. The Church of the Wayfarer has two ministries that may be helpful to you when you are ready to ask for help.   You can be assured that your conversations will be confidential. Compassionate hospital and hospice visitation by the pastor is always available and has the highest priority. Pastor Norm Mowery has been an experienced counselor for many persons and couples during his 33 years of ministry. He is available for counseling or just to share your burden.   There is no charge for the pastor's services, nor do you have to be a member of The Church of the Wayfarer; however, contributions for the ongoing work of the church are always welcome. Contact the church office at 624-3550 to schedule an appointment.   In addition to our pastor, members of the community are invited to seek more intensive, long-term help and counseling with a licensed, psychotherapist, Sarah McCloud Berling, at affordable rates.   She maintains an office in the church or is also available for home consultations by mutual agreement. Sarah Berling has more than thirty years of professional experience working in her private practice with families, couples and individuals, and has a practical, encouraging approach.
