Ministries and Programs
We, the members and friends of the Church of the Wayfarer, are proud of our church. It has been over 100 years in the making, and is an integral part of Carmel-by-the-Sea's unique history. The church was established and currently maintained by providing Christian significance and purpose to life for the furtherance of a more meaningful understanding and appreciation of God's legacy to us, or, "people caring about people".
Our vision and mission is to increase the breadth and depth of our ministries that blends the meaning and inspiration of tradition with a more contemporary form of worship for family or individual Christian experience. Worship services are intermingled with both classical and contemporary music. Sermons emphasize Christian teachings illustrated through contemporary events relevant to current individual and family life situations.
