A variety of options
for your wedding music...

Marshall Carpenter, Organist In Residence & Coordinator of Music, is a classically trained pianist with a long tenure at Church of The Wayfarer.

He has a variety of options for the music for your wedding including preludes, processionals and recessionals.

You may also bring in guest artists if you wish, or, if you prefer, you may play back your own selected tracks on CD.

Pipe Organ

Church of the Wayfarer is home to a 32 rank Schoenstein pipe organ that was installed in 1992. The orchestral resonance of this instrument is unsurpassed on the Monterey Peninsula. Its luscious romantic style is warm and inviting, truly an enhancement to any wedding.

Grand Piano

Church of the Wayfarer has a Yamaha C7 grand piano on the main sanctuary floor. This outstanding instrument is a favorite of all artists who perform on it.

Guest Artists and Other Performers

Guest artists who wish to perform with the Church organist should contact him in advance of the wedding to arrange the selection of music. The Church organist does not attend rehearsals.

If you are interested in string quartets, pianists or other ensembles/musicians, the organist or Wedding Coordinator can be of great assistance in this matter.

You Should Also Know
